Bryan Crabb, who has extensive experience in the solar industry, has been named executive director of the Rancho Cordova-based California Solar Energy Industries Association.
Formed in 1977, CALSEIA is a solar industry trade association with about 150 member companies. Members include contractors, manufacturers, distributors, consultants, engineers and service providers in California's solar industry.
Crabb previously served as director of government affairs for Tempe, Ariz.-based First Solar and Hayward-based OptiSolar. He also was the California Public Utilities Commission's liaison to former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's administration and the state Legislature.
