Roseville-based SPI Solar, which has found welcoming customers in Europe in recent years, on Thursday made dual announcements reflecting its push into Greece.
SPI said it has memorandum of understanding agreements with two fund-management companies in Greece to develop utility-scale solar energy facilities in that nation.
The agreements with Thermi-Taneo Venture Capital Fund and AIMS-Taneo Fund call for a minimum of 23 megawatts of projects for SPI to design and build. Potentially, SPI could develop 100 megawatts of projects in Greece.
